      Hi, so i've connected my pie running retropie using RCA cables.
      Using "enable_tvout=1" gives me a image (but my mp4 splashscreen is lagging) and very choppy sound (I have background music in the menu) and It just gives me a black screen when I enter a game.

      If I go into settings and change resolution to a 4:3 ratio either 60hz or 50hz (I do have a PAL Tv) it gives me great sound but no image =/

      Does anyone have any idea how to fix it?

      EDIT:
      An update, so after adding this line to the config file:
      audio_pwm_mode=0
      The audio works, only if I select the resolution to "monitor or device" instead of a fixed resolution and 50 or 60hz.

      Every console works except for NES. Starting a SNES, GB, GBC, GBA, Arcade, Playstation and Megadrive it all works great. But Starting a NES game the CRT just goes black and It looks like it dosen't receive a signal

      EDIT x2:
      I finally figured it out! I had long ago been trying different modes for lr-quicknes as my default NES emulator. Using that emulator setting the video mode to CEA-16. I enabled the runcommand and pressed A when launching a NES game so I could enter the menu. Removed the video mode from the quicknes emulator and now it works. Every single NES game works perfectly.

      Just a tiny bit of a overscan issue now, and the theme (mini-nes theme) is for 16x9 so it dosent fit really.

      And I have this text popping up when launching a game:
      ALSA lib control.c:1373 something VolumeControl::init() failed to attach to default card!

      Anyone know what that is about?

      EDIT x3:
      I changed the line in config.txt from
      audio_pwm_mode=0
      to
      audio_pwm_mode=1

      In settings I have this
      Audio card set to Default
      and
      Audio device set to PCM.

      Seems to work great, no more sound warnings.
