      Hello,

I have bought a coin validator for my arcade cabinet and would like to connect it to the Raspberry pi via my USB encoder (5V). So I connect “-” and “Coin” from the coin validator to the USB encoder. Is it urgently necessary to connect a relay in between? This does not work for me.
Does anyone have experience with this? I would be very happy about help.
