Is there a way to have emulationstation only play a video once instead of looping?

I saw an old post about this but it didn't go anywhere other than to suggest modifying ES. But I'd like to have it only play the video once and then stop (ideally go back to the image, but no biggie). I didn't see a config for that but maybe I missed it?

@old_arcade_dude I would also like this as a feature, the video doesn't need to play more than once and after that it should fade away leaving only the boxart.
