Pi Model or other hardware: Raspberry Pi 4 Model B Rev 1.5
Power Supply used: RAS-PWR13-PI
RetroPie Version Used: 4.8, updated to latest via retropie-updater, as of 2025-04-07
Built From: https://github.com/RetroPie/RetroPie-Setup/releases/download/4.8/retropie-buster-4.8-rpi4_400.img.gz
USB Devices connected: GameSir G7 HE Wired Controller
This shows up as the following inlsusb
output:
Bus 001 Device 003: ID 3537:1065
Controller used: GameSir G7 HE Wired ControllerI'd like to plug a headset into the wired GameSir G7, and disable the default Raspberry Pi on-board 3.5 mm jack.
But I suspect I'm missing a driver that would allow me to do so, as there's no name associated with the controller's USB ID.

Try installing the xone driver and then check with
aplay -l
to see if the gamepad appears as an audio output.EDIT: it looks like the driver wants a newer kernel then what's in the RetroPie image, it won't work.

@mitu Thanks for confirming that.
In the meantime, I was able to determine that my HDMI monitor also has a 3.5 mm jack that I never noticed before, so I can plug my headphones into that instead.
