RaspberryPi 3b+ and Pi2SCART - cannot make 4:3 CRT run fullscreen games
-
Hello,
I am encountering issue with a Grundig P45-540 text CRT TV (this) and my retropie setup (details below).
TV is connected directly to pi2scart via SCART cable. Consider that I am based in EU and therefore PAL is what we have here. The issue is that despite emulation station being perfectly rendered on the TV, games (whatever emulator) are run in a non-fullscreen window like in this picture CRT_pi2scart.jpeg.
I think the answer may be in the HDMI timings in the boot file which I kind of put blindly from a facebook post, seemed to work much better than the default ones suggested for pi2scart kind of everywhere which I think worked well for NTSC.
I attach here below the pastebins for
config boot txt file
retroarch cfg in /opt/retropie/configs/all folder
retroarch core options cfg in /opt/retropie/configs/all folder
psx retroarch cfg in /opt/retropie/configs/psx
snes retroarch cfg in /opt/retropie/configs/snesDo you have any suggestions? Any help is greatly appreciated
