      Hi all,
i'm new to the retropie thing but i manged to successfully install it to my Pi3 with no problem. installed KODI from the packages menu successfully.
The problem i faced is that my Bluetooth keyboard and bluetooth controller (8Bitdo) won't work in KODI even it was working on retropie! when i launch KODI the keyboard bluetooth indicator shows that its still connected but nothing happens when i click any button. the same goes with the controller!
even for my ps3 controller which is connected to my Pi3 wirely and worked with retropie won't work in Kodi. the only thing that works is my wired standard keyboard and that won't be convenient when using Kodi.
I'm not a programming expert so is there anyway to fix this?
      thanks.

well i think no one is interested in helping me out so i search again google and came to another OS called recalbox which is way better than retropie and more user friendly and supports from the users is fast and better. also it includes kodi out of the box without facing any problems like retropie.

if anyone is interested with kodi and facing same problem as me, simply switch to recalbox.

        best regards,,,

@alareqi Didnt really give the community much chance to help you out did you? Plus, a bit of a search in the wiki, specifically the section on KODI here https://github.com/retropie/retropie-setup/wiki/KODI and you'll see there is setup instructions for this. Bit out of order to kick off when you haven't even attempted to read the already documented help.

          Enjoy Recallbox.

@alareqi if recalbox works better for you more power to you, they've made a good piece of software, we do this for fun as a hobby in our free time, we aren't obligated to help anyone and for the many we do help we expect them to take at the very least a minimal initiative to read the documentation which we've also wrote for your convenience in our free time. One less complaint to deal with for us (and as you'll see the devs here are much more responsive generally than recalbox just take a quick glance at their community forum and Reddit threads)

If you read the documentation it will answer 99% of your questions: https://retropie.org.uk/docs/

@markyh444 well, don't you think that i've already made an effort and read that link you provided? i read everything even the section on how to map the pads to the system but no it didn't work.
also please don't judge me while you don't know me. i posted what i see in my point of view. you might not like it but this is how i felt. also i'm one who likes to contribute and make effort on things i like and i'm already contributing and translating GUI Text for recalbox in my native language. i like retropie and i think its a cool piece of software but i liked recalbox better due to the simplicity of the software for people like me.
              sorry if i was rude.
              best regards and good luck.

@alareqi this will be fixed when kodi 17 stable is released btw as controller support for 16 isnt really official.

@alareqi you were rude, hence my rebuttal. I stand by what I said.
