3.5 inch screen problem (top and bottom black regions)

Hi all I got my aliexpress 3.5 " lcd screen it has 272x480 pixel resolution. I connected it to pi zero to try but I discovered today it has empty black pixels on top and bottom. here is the picture of it.
I changed the config. txt to framebuffer dimensions as 272x480.
Do you know how I can change this to use that pixels. It is not only limited to games it also happen in emulation station system selection screen

@zarrath Try the over scan settings from the FAQs in the wiki: https://github.com/RetroPie/RetroPie-Setup/wiki/FAQ#how-do-i-remove-the-black-borders

You can also does this through the raspbian tools in the retropie menu if I remember rightly.

+1 for the overscan issue. I have one television that I need to adjust the overscan manually in the /boot/config.txt file, but another television that I don't need to adjust the overscan at all. In the same config.txt file you can adjust the amount of overscan.
