Ps3 controller not configured?
-
my ps3 controller is working on every system on my retropie other than SNES. if I choose any other system, regularly I get the small yellow message in the bottom-left corner "playstation 3 controller configured in port 0", but if I choose a SNES game it shows a larger yellow message in the bottom left corner "playstation 3 controller not configured", and none of the buttons are responsive (can't even exit out of the game without unplugging) I've been playing SNES games with the same controller for weeks now and it has never given me a problem in the past. Any help is appreciated.

@catdogsharks if you open up /opt/retropie/configs/snes/retroarch.cfg is there a whole bunch of stuff in it? If so delete the file, then go into retropie settings on the emulationstation main screen, then go into retropie setup. In there update retropie-setup. Then go in manage packages. Then go into main packages. Then find lr-snes9x-next and update from binary. Then back out until you exit back to emulationstation and it should work ok.

Just to mention that it happened because the
config_save_on_exit
was turned on sometime. When it is on some confusions will surely happen. -
