Does EmulationStation support GIFs?

As a graphic and UI designer, I found all of the themes for ES pretty hideous. Therefore, I decided to design my own. I thought it'd be cool to have animated console logos, so when ever you'd scroll over to, say, the N64, its logo would start spinning.
