Revisiting this old classic today on PC figured id take a look at the retropie release thanks to script provided by @herb_fargus
I Noticed this is an old build and theres no official jessie package in the repo as it appears unmaintained for some time.

This may work as a solution to bring things upto date.

Theres an unofficial debian source package at http://plantmonster.net/~oldlaptop/uqm-packages/deb/uf/ with build instructions http://plantmonster.net/~oldlaptop/uqm-packages/deb/uf/compiling-help.html

It was a straightforward build on raspbian jessie , the above guide has created me 0.7.0 content packages and an armhf specific uqm.deb . I havent tested the netcode module or any of the unofficial patches but the game itself seems to be running fine.

I havent looked at retropie integration or other platform support at this early stage but there are precompiled binaries on the site for x86/x64
However i figured id post up my findings upto now incase theres any interest.

theres a thread disussing the package at http://forum.uqm.stack.nl/index.php?topic=5289.0

@AmigaGamer @BuZz put in the script. I just started it and bugged him to finish it. He's the real genius here not me ;)
