Curious what everybody's thoughts are on how to connect 4 Playstation controllers to a Pi3. I am looking to buy some controllers, but am curious if people think that 4 USB controllers + a powered USB dongle is the best route, or going 4 controllers through Bluetooth are the best. I have Xbox controllers with a Microsoft dongle, but I find that connecting them consistently is a hassle, so I'm looking to go a different route. What are your thoughts?

I used 4 PS3 controllers over bluetooth to run a Bomberman tournament at work on a Pi3 and it worked absolutely fine. Had it working with other games as well. Just remember some system require you to enable 'multi-tap' within RetroArch before the game will pick up the additional controllers.

        I tested it with:

        Bomberman on the SNES
        Mario Kart 64
        Micro Machines V3 (PS1)
        Crash Team Racing (PS1)
        Micro Machines Turbo Tournament (MegaDrive)

        Hope this helps.
