I have had my powerblock for a while now, it has been sitting on top of the RaspberryPi 3 since i got it this summer... I just recently got my switch and LED so wanted to tried it out.
Today I installed the powerblock software on top of my main retropie sd card (i know i should have used a test card at first) I used the instructions on petrocksblogs site, everything went well until i restarted my Pi.
After a restart i get the following error message.

[ 2.246621] --- [ end Kernel panic - not syncing: Attempted to kill init! exitcode=0x00007f00
      [ 2.246621]

I have tried out to boot without any USB device connected to RaspberryPi
The RetroPie sdcard is v4 updated to v4.0.2. if it makes any difference.

EDIT: Tried the same SD card without the powerblock on GPIO, same error.
I also tried another "clean" sd card without powerblock software, it worked fine. I did not dare to try install software before i know more why i got kernel panic.

EDIT: Tried to re-install RetroPie 4.0.2 on a clean card, i got through the updates for RetroPie before i had the same error message. So it would seem that the kernel panic is related to latest RetroPie (or OS Core) update rather then PowerBlock.
