Retropie Emulationstation on Ubuntu 16.04 Won't Load Games
-
Hi All
So I've installed Retropie on my Ubuntu 16.04 laptopa as per https://github.com/retropie/retropie-setup/wiki/RetroPie-Ubuntu-16.04-LTS-x86-Flavor
Everything went well and I have downloaded a couple of games and transferred the games to the appropriate folders and when I go to run them i emulationstation I get a black screen for a few seconds then a view of my desktop with a directory to the log file. then just back to emulationstation.I have tried this with Street Fighter II World Warrior for Arcade, Pacman for DOS, Wolfenstein 3D for Dos and Duke Nukem for Dos. The runcommand.log file is as follows;
Failed to open /home/strik9ine/RetroPie/roms/pcengine/Pacman (1984)(Rowan).srm: No such file or directory
/opt/retropie/supplementary/runcommand/runcommand.sh: line 851: 5424 Segmentation fault (core dumped) /opt/retropie/emulators/retroarch/bin/retroarch -L /opt/retropie/libretrocores/lr-beetle-pce-fast/mednafen_pce_fast_libretro.so --config /opt/retropie/configs/pcengine/retroarch.cfg "/home/strik9ine/RetroPie/roms/pcengine/Pacman (1984)(Rowan).zip" --appendconfig /dev/shm/retroarch.cfgI'm new to Linux, any help would be appreciated.
