After installing lxde can't connect to internet.

Hi,
So I have installed lxde through the setup script of retropie. Lxde works perfect so I wanna install chromium.
Did the sudo apt-get install chromium.
I got the error, chromium' has no installation candidate.
Did sudo get update.
Agian did the chromium download, didn't work.
Put my pi away for about a hour. Now I can't connect with Wi-Fi or wired internet. Fillezilla and windows sent recognize the pi. I really can use some help.
Raspberry pi 3
Retropie 4.02 (I think)
