Hi when I download Dreamcast Game ROMs they are usually in two formats: ZIP or RAR.

If I unzip or unrar them I end up with these two options.

      1. a .bin and cue file

      or

      1. about 5 files like track 1, track two and a very small .gdi file (ex 187 bytes)

What do I need to do to make these usable with the Retro pie Reicast emulator?

      Thanks

Just create you a folder for each game inside the roms/dreamcast

        heres a picture to understand.0_1481064089773_marvel_vs_capcom2.JPG

Bin & Cue do not seem to work. Just GDI. The GDI file is the only thing that will show up in the Retropie menu.

Also you can convert gdi to only one file chd and save space.

Anyway this is a little old post...

I would recommend using the games from Redump set since their filenames contain the game name so you can put them all in the same folder and also they are usable with Reicast out of the box without conversion.
