      Hey Folks,

I just got my first RasPI in the mail [3 B] -- I downloaded the RetroPie [3.7] image, but when I try to extract it, I get CRC errors. I tried both 7Zip and WinRAR, but both gave me a similar error. I had downloaded it on Linux, and moved it over to Windows, so I thought it may have corrupted somewhere in the transfer. I downloaded a fresh copy, and still got the same error.

Any suggestions as to what to try next? Or, if someone could post a checksum from a known good copy so I could compare, I would really appreciate it.

      I show my MD5 as: e84f75ba5ff096f2610c5f028c781f68

      Thanks!

      Update:

I connected to my work computer, and downloaded it through the work network, and was able to successfully extract the file. I am not sure why my home computer is having so much trouble with it, but I suppose I will just grab the image when I go into work tomorrow.

Update 2: Must be something with my desktop computer. I copied the archive over to my laptop, and got the same error. I then downloaded a fresh copy onto the laptop, and it extracted without issue. If anyone else has this issue, try a different computer. :-)
