      Hi Guys,
I'm running a pi3 4.0.2 with an SD card for the o/s and USB stick for the Roms.

I am trying to delete roms, but everytime I restart the machine it re-copies the files back on to the Pi.

Tried to delete in retropie file manager, network transfer and plugging the USB into another computer to delete.

I'm assuming it is copying the files to the SD card and rebooting/copying the roms back.

If so is there a way to disable this?

      Cheers
      Joe

Are you running the USB daemon that automatically copies rom files from the folder structure on the USB to the SD card? If you want to run games just from USB, you need to turn that off. There's a setting for it in Retropie Setup under Tools.

          Thank you so much Lyle

Navigated to the Daemon setting via tools and disabled it!

          All fixed

          Problem solved

Having the same issue, but I can't find any USB daemon tools under retropie setup and tools.
