Controller setup everytime I restart

Hi guys,
Everything I start retropie I get new controller detected and have to set it up, why is it not keeping the settings?

@meleu no problem RP3 , retropie 4.01 controllers are SNES clone and PS3.

auto configure controller was not on. One problem down , 2 to go
