Updating to 4.1 on pi zero or....

... never change a running system (4.0.3 currently)?
What would you suggest? I do want the best performance out of my 0,5 watt box. So little power that there is nothing to give away. Is performance improving on those low power machines or are all the emulators going for better accuracy and not performance?
btw: who picks the pi zero emulators?best wishes!

@naddel81 4.0.3 is from about a month ago dude...
things get faster, sometimes slower (not normally on purpose), but there isn't some massive team making huge breakthroughs every week :) anything significant will be in the release notes.

@naddel81 Updating can be a pain in the *** sometimes, the best way is to always install from image. If you back up your save games, cheat files, roms you should always be fine. I'm still using v4.0.2 it works perfectly fine for me, it runs everything properly so no need to update.
