      Hi Guys,

I shut down retropie but accidentally left my raspberry pi3 (retropie) plugged into power supply running over night and when i tried to boot it up this morning the lights came on but nothing was happening on the monitor....then i realised the sd card was burning hot. I unplugged everything for an hour and came back to set it up again and the same thing happened again. I do have heat sink things that i have now stuck on but that does not seem to be working.

Any ideas what is going on?

Yeah, I'd pull the SD card out completely and try to boot. You can then check the status lights.
