I've searched the forum, but haven't found anything specifically like my issue, but I apologize in advance if this is a duplicate. I have my RetroPie system (latest version) up and running and everything seems to be working great. When I was originally setting my system up, I had it connected to the HDMI port of my computer monitor and sound went through the monitor's internal speakers. The speakers weren't the greatest quality, but everything was clear.

Now that it is all set up, I am using a different monitor that has no HDMI and needs an HDMI-VGA adaptor, and the sound is going through a set of computer speakers via the 3.5mm jack. The video works fine, and I set the configuration so that the sound will go through the 3.5 mm speakers. The only issue that I am having is that the sound through these speakers sounds a bit fuzzy - like a radio that isn't quite on the station. Any ideas of how to remedy this? I've checked 2 different sets of speakers (on the RPi and other devices) with the same results, so I know it is not the speakers that is the problem. Please help.

      BTW, I have a RPi2 B+ if that helps...
