Video Game Music Station

@mattrixk It's working for me without login or register.
-
@Nismo: I'm at work and I think we're running a pretty hardcore proxy. It's probably that. It creates more problems than it solves.

Sorry to dig up an old thread.
Rainwave is cool, but there is a lot of recent video game musics.
I often listen to this radio, which is almost 8-16 bits, with some amiga demoscene tunes :

@Sano Wow! and they have an web IRC client not blocked by the restrictive proxy I'm behind! Awesome!
Thanks! :-)
-
@meleu Glad you like it :)
Actually sometimes when I hear a cool tune, I check which game it's from, look at somescreenshots/reviews, and eventually put it on my "games I have to try" list.
Nice alternative way to discover new games :) -
...now if someone could write a client that could play these underneath EmulationStation...

DID SOMEONE SAY VIDEO GAME MUSIC?
Because I've got the song for you!
https://clyp.it/hl0oxm0w
It's an old song I remastered and I put in a retro video game montage I did a month or two back. -
@itsnitro No one asked for your mixtape :)
-
- It's not a mixtape, it's an original song.
- I decied to post it anyway because it's kinda related to the topic. :)
-
@itsnitro It is indeed - I recognize it from my RetroPie starting video :D
I am personally inclined to every now and then listen to more metal or rock versions of videogame music.
In case that's your thing, this gentleman is worth looking into:
Even if it's not, but you can at least appreciate it, then do have a listen/watch. This is a 17-min medley of video game music history!
Contributions to the project are always appreciated, so if you would like to support us with a donation you can do so here.
