      Hello!

I'm using retropie 3.7 and after doing apt-get update... apt-get upgrade.. samba stopped working, I can't connect to shared folders on retropie. After some research, people says that is a bug introduced in samba after the latest release,

        Please provide some more details.

Are there errors logged when restarting smbd ? sudo service smbd restart ? What OS are you connecting to the RPI from ? It works ok on my system (I get a requester up, and choose to connect anonymously from Ubuntu, and all is fine)

In my case this fixed the problem:

            • Open the command line of the Retropie system (locally or via SSH)
            • Type "sudo smbpasswd -a pi", and then enter the password again ("raspberry" if you did not change the default)

After doing this, the Mac can connect using the user "pi". Anonymous access still shows an error, though. I think the upgrade of Samba did reset some configuration settings.
