How can I setup 2 player controls for emulators other than Mame. Specifically for the "arcade" set of emulators.

I'm using ipac ultimate with a custom built joy pad. I eventually want to make it four players but I can figure out how to get the second player active in the arcade emulators. I've figured out Mame set up fine with rgui. But Arcade doesn't seem to have any setup option. I'm using pi module b+ retropie version 4.1

@boie You haven't or it would be working. I have an ipac too and it works out of the box after auto configure. You should post the config file that you are using for retroarch so that people can assist you and fill out the form as advised by buzz in the second post.

After doing more reasurch I found that my problem is that I need to configure my second player for PiFBA.

This is true and once again, if you read the guide it will tell you how and with what file. Please do not ask any further questions until you have read https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first. It is obvious that you have ignored it despite it being printed at the top of the page and despite agreeing to it when you signed up.
