      Hello, I have a Raspberry Pi with Retropie installed. Is there a way to install raspbian without formatting SD card or removing retropie. Then retropie is the software that first boots when turning on Raspberry Pi.

        @cadgeo in the documentation you agreed to read before posting also RetroPie is already running on raspbian. What you are referring to is the desktop environment PIXEL which is based on LXDE

          @herb_fargus Will the roms that i already have on Retropie be deleted upon installing PIXEL?

            Nothing will be deleted.
