Newbie: SD Card for Pi3

@vannquish Yes that card is ok; and even bigger size should work (haven't tested more than 64 GB). Also you could use a USB stick or an external HD.
MicroSD cards & Raspberry benchmark here. -
I'm using this one: SanDisk Ultra microSDHC 32GB

Thanks. Would 32GB be big enough? What do you have setup on yours?
-
@vannquish I'm using a retropie 4.1 with a lot of games. For that, its more than enough. If you plan to use the Pi as a mediacenter you might consider the 64GB Card.
-
@Corvin. No, just looking to setup a table top cab using Pi3 running just the classics & old console games. So 32GB should be fine?
-
@vannquish Depends on what games you'll play, but yes, should work.
-
@Corvin Looking at running Master System, Mega Drive, SNES, DreamCast, Playstation.

Play station games are generally 300-700 MB each
Dreamcast games can be 1.3 GB or soReally anything disck-based can east up space pretty quickly. Arcade rom sets tend to be a couple GB as well.
A 64 BG card will probably be sufficient as long as your Dreamcase and PSX library isn't too large.

@mrbwa1 Great, I'll pickup a 64GB SD card. Thanks for your help.
