Good evening all. I installed the experimental package to add favorites/kids section. It kept crashing on me, so I uninstalled it. When I did.

I now get the following error /opt/retropie/configs/all/autostart.sh line 1: emulationstation: command not found.

This all happened after I uninstalled this package: https://github.com/retropie/retropie-setup/wiki/Child-friendly-EmulationStation

Any idea what I should do?

@ebtalk Looks like you need to load RetroPie setup again from the command line and reinstall the original Emulation Station from the core packages. Help on how to do this is in the Wiki.

@ebtalk I dont think so, but I'd take a backup of the config if I were you to make sure you don't lose anything.

@ebtalk any that you've changed that may be overwritten by an ES install. If you've not amended and ES config files, a reinstall should be fine. You could take a copy of your gameslists held under config/all/EmulationStation I suppose.

@markyh444 for reference if anybody reads this, it writes over everything including the roms you have saved.

Glad I backed all that up including images and game lists files
