I've been trying to figure this out all day long. I'll try to setup the wifi and I'll enter the correct password. It tries to connect, but won't. I've connected 3 devices to my wifi tonight without any issue. Anyone know what I can do to fix this?

      Pi Model: Pi3 B
      RetroPie Version Used: 4.01
Built From: Pre made SD Image on RetroPie website.
USB Devices connected: Xin-mo controller (2nd joystick not yet configured)
Controller used: HAPP arcade joystick and buttons.
Error messages received: Cannot connect to wifi
Log found in /dev/shm/runcommand.log (if relevant):
Guide used: (Mention if you followed a guide): SEVERAL videos, the guide from this website, and a couple others.
File: (File with issue - with FULL path) n/a
Emulator: (Name of emulator - if applicable) n/a
Attachment of config files: (PLEASE USE PASTEBIN.COM FOR LARGE LOGS) Do I need to post this?
How to replicate the problem: It happens every time I attempt to connect.

Does your password contain non alpha numeric characters ? Note that the default keyboard layout on RetroPie (assuming you are running from our premade image - I don't know as you provided little information) is UK, so the password may have been typed wrong.

you can manually check from the terminal sudo cat /etc/wpa_supplicant/wpa_supplicant.conf

Sorry! I thought I read everything, guess I missed that... doh! I updated my first post.

No, it contains all alpha numeric characters.

i had a simmilar problem because i took another powersupply then i used to...

PS: some usb keyboards also dont work properly, so if the password is hidden with dots/stars you cant be sure you wrote the correct password

Is there a way to show the password to verify it is being entered correctly?
