Advmame Joystick Calibration

@amadvance Hello, I am working with UHID and got pots hooked up for pedals on Off-road. I verified that advmame recognized it with advj. Inside advmame, I am able to set pedal increase to j-stick-x. But then I try to use it in a game it does not register. I am assuming that I need to calibrate the pedal. I tried the menu option for calibration and nothing comes up. It jumps back to the menu. Am I doing something wrong?

@challenger2010 Apologies for bringing this back from the dead, I wondered if you'd managed to resolve this calibration of analog joysticks in advmame?
I am trying to configure some pots for a Warlords mame cab, and I have a nasty deadspot at 0,0 that I want to remove!
