I've searched high and low for a solution to this, but haven't seen it mentioned.

I have a new Pi 3 Model B, that is running Retropie v3.7, and I'm experiencing freezes in basically all emulators beyond NES. I wouldn't be terribly surprised at some freezes on, says, PSX, but I'm even having consistent, regular freezes on SNES games.

Built from SD image with Win32 Disk Imager, and for connected devices I have a USB keyboard and PS3 controller (currently connected via Bluetooth). Did a binary based installation once I had it up and running.

A few examples: I get hard freezes almost immediately in Chrono Trigger for SNES, FF7 for PSX won't load past the title screen (if that), but Chrono Cross (PSX) surprising ran for roughly ten minutes before freezing. NES games run with no problem, but SNES, Genesis, etc. all freeze within 5-10 minutes of loading.

Basically, I'm not sure how to troubleshoot this to see if it's a hardware issue, a software/emulator issue, etc. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

Apologies, and thank you. I guess I suck at searching.
