      hey there forum,

i recently tried out recalbox and i notices something very cool. instead of the usual combination of "start+select" to exit a game or "select + A" to open up the retroarch gui, recalbox configured it to use the "home buttom" of my xbox360 controller instead for the hotkey.

i tried to configure retropie to do the same with no luck so far. i edited "input_enable_hotkey_btn = "" " variable in the retroarch config to use the corresponding key on my gamepad. but that didn't work (it just disabled the standard "start+select" combination).

if someone can help me with that, let me know.

      thanks for all your time!

      cheers
      tim

@tcmt which config ? Please do not post a support request without first reading and following the advice in https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first (You don't provide which version of retropie for example which affects the path im about to give you)

you should edit /opt/retropie/configs/all/retroarch/autoconfig/YOURJOYPAD.cfg and change the hotkey button in there.
