That is probably what it is. Disks!. I'm am just beginning this whole Raspberry and RetroPie thing so I am not familiar with ROMs. I downloaded a few ROMs and when I unzip them almost all of them have one file in the zip with a .d64 extension. I have two however, that have 2 files in each. In one it is disk1 and disk2 and in the other it has side A and side B. I suppose that it should be disk 1 and disk 2 rather than side A and sideB. So my question is, can RetroPie play games that have multiple disks and if so, does it select the disk needed automatically?

          Thanks.

          I

if you read the link I gave, it suggests adding details - eg which emulator/game etc. Please provide more detail in the future to aid in people helping.

Luckily I know .d64 is a c64 disk. You can load the first disk, and then switch disk in the emulator

            https://github.com/retropie/retropie-setup/wiki/Commodore-64

This can be done from the built in Vice menu - a keyboard is needed for configuration. Full documentation for this emulator is found here - http://vice-emu.sourceforge.net/vice_toc.html

@BuZz Thank you very much. I'll check out those links. Sorry about the details. At the time, I didn't think it mattered which emulator was used because it was just a matter of whether a ROM with two disks could be used and I assumed that it would be the same for any emulator.
              Thanks again.
