      I haven't added or removed any arcade games and for some reason several seem to have quit working. pac-man works, but TMNT, Ultimate MK3, and the Simpsons aren't. The same thing is going on with Neo•Geo. Anyone know what could cause this?

        Arcade is a folder, not an emulator. It is a place for multiple romsets so that you can launch roms with different emulators for a clean look in es without having 3 mames show up. What emulators are you trying to launch? Which romsets are you pairing with them?

          Just noticed this.......have you searched the forum at all on this one? It's probably the most common question. This was provided to prevent you from becoming the next one....

            @rbaker it has been a couple weeks since I've played it, but to the best of my knowledge I've never put any romsets in a MAME folder. I've always had them in the Arcade folder and everything worked fine.

              @zq8-blazer That is not what I am saying. The arcade folder is a place for roms for a variety of emulators. When you select one, the run command appears and you can select the emulator that you would like to launch that rom. You can continue with this as required. If your roms were working before, you may have changed the emulator so your rom set will no longer be compatible or you do not have the correct bios files in the correct place. Neo-Geo is a prime example - what emulator are you trying? What romset are you using and have you placed the neogeo bios in there?

                @rbaker yes the Neo•Geo BIOS is located in the Neo•Geo folder. WindJammers is working as it should.

                  @zq8-blazer I have asked this 3 times:
                  What emulators are you trying to launch? Which romsets are you pairing with them?

                    @rbaker the Simpsons, teenage mutant ninja turtles, and ultimate MK 3. I have tried all of them with fbalpha, imame4all, mame2003, pifba. They worked fine before, but for some reason now they do not.

                      @zq8-blazer Based on your answer, I can no longer make any suggestions because you don't seem to understand what I mean by romset. Also, because you have tried the roms that you have named in 4 different emulators, it means that you don't understand or realise how mame and fba work. These emulators have a specific romset that must be used.

                      with clrmamepro to ensure that they are compatible with the mame emulator of your choice whichever that is. In my third post above, I suggested this link. Have you read it yet? I guess not because you are randomly trying roms in random emulators which is the route to frustration and madness. Do a search for mame roms not working on here and you'll see.

                        The route to frustration and madness is beset on all sides by the practices of the impatient and the resolve of lazy men. @mediamogul..... and I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and fuuuuuuurious anger those who would attempt to corrupt and destroy my installation with false romsets. And you will know my name is MAME when I lay my vengeance upon thee.

                            Ha! that's got to be one of the best line readings in cinematic history.

                                Normally I would wipe your installation...But you happened to catch me in a transitional period.
