      didn't clear round 1 time.

To play it as it should be (like the real thing) you need an arcade stick, possibly a 4 ways.

If you guys can provide more info/links or any shader related info that can inspire me, please post comments on that thread and I'll take a look at some point. ;)

I had mentioned the idea earlier to @UDb23 but on second thought maybe it doesn't make as much sense. There's many shaders for MAME and they are a matter of preference so to pigeon hole one shader probably wouldn't work. I do prefer DaveJ's "crt-pi" shader though. If you try one it's a good one.

Here's the RetroPie link on shaders:
        https://github.com/RetroPie/RetroPie-Setup/wiki/Shaders-and-Smoothing

        To set a shader:

        • RetroPie Setup
        • C Configuration / tools
        • 805 configedit - Edit RetroPie/RetroArch configurations
        • 2 Advanced Configuration
        • 1 Configure Libretro options
        • 12 mame-libretro/retroarch.cfg (or whatever Libretro core you're using)
        • 2 video_shader_enable (true)
        • 3 video_shader (/opt/retropie/emulators/retroarch/shader/crt-pi.glsl) (my preferred shader)

On a side note do you think there's any value to making an option to adjust input_overlay_opacity globally. I've set every overlay to .5 so it doesn't overpower/look brighter then the screen play area or do most leave it at defaults?

I think that's an interesting suggestion; I did get a couple of requests on how to set different level of opacity. Don't know if this a customization that's requested by many.

Ok, right now I do them manually and make a backup on a USB so I don' t need to do it again. Maybe if enough interest is shown a feature request down the road for those that don't like command line file tweaking.

@riverstorm The idea behind @meleu's script is to allow (typically less expert) people to install overlays and other art without needing to edit or move files around manually.
So you're right it would be nice to be able to set custom opacity thru the same script.
@meleu is quite busy already but maybe he'll be able to look into this in the near future.

Yep, you're right. I'm kinda busy with another project now (RetroAchievements related). But you guys are encouraged to make feature requests, and using the repo's issue tracker is the best way to do it. ;-)

Thanks Udb, I was going to add a feature request this morning but you beat me to it. It seems like a good fit for the script. I think the range you choose is perfect as much below .5 it gets pretty opaque.

@UDb23 I'm sorry if this ain't the right place to be asking but I'm having a bit of a problem getting overlays to match my screen (Makibes 7 inch screen) as well as the game. Is it possible to adjust this in the config files for each overlay or is this to be adjusted in Retroarch?
Edit: Also the first overlay I use keeps showing up in all the other games except when I change input_overlay_enable = "false" in Retroarch.cfg

Thank you again for your amazing work!

This happened previously to other users; if I remember well it's related to the "save on exit" retroarch setting.

My overlays are for 1080p; what is your display resolution ? Probably it is not 16:9.
If this is the case actual artwork has to be re-created for your specific resolution; you can't fix this thru settings in cfgs.

@brigane If you have one your really like I could adapt it. For this I need to know the actual game area size (check video settings in RGUI).
