    Controller stuck as player 3 in reicast...Help?!

      I have managed to configure the buttons correctly, and I can play Powerstone 2 as it is a four player, but I cannot change my Xbox360 controller to be player 1. Evtest identifies the controller as 4 (0 and 1 being the arcade controls, 2 and 3 being the aeromouse and keys on my keyboard). I've even changed the 'evdev_device_id_1' to 4 (my xbox pad), and the others to -1, but the controller stays firmly as player 3. I really need help with this, as this is for a gift and it is due anyday now. Any help would be most appreciated.

        Please post the contents of your emu.cfg file.

        Should be located in either:
        /opt/retropie/configs/dreamcast/emu.cfg
        or
        /home/pi/.reicast/emu.cfg
