4.1.9 and Searching for Bluetooth PS4 controller

Good Day all. When I first got the Pi3 and Retropi 4.1, I was trying to connect a PS4 controller. It took no more than 10 seconds to pickup the bluetooth address. Even though it dont work due to the drivers, it was about to locate it.
Now, with 4.1.9, to register the controller, it is stuck on "Searching" in the bluetooth menu. I let it go for almost 30 mins and nothing.
Please help!!!
