      Now wait, before you go off calling me an idiot, I know the virtual gamepad for mobile devices exist, but I prefer physical controls. I also know that if I had some sort of bluetooth gamepad (that wouldnt work natively for retropie), I could set it up to simulate screen taps, but I don't have one of those either.

      Now, with that out of the way...

      I have a Homebrew enabled 3DS. An O3DS is pretty crippled when it comes to emulation. Could there possibly be a way to use it as a controller through Wi-Fi to my RetroPie like the mobile device thing?

        You might look into this as a possibility.
