Problem with usb controller of xbox

Hello first greet and thank all the help.
I have an xbox360 / pc controller with usb cable set up in raspberry pi 3.
I work in all games of any emulator except in dreamcast and nintendo64.
The problem is that I enter dreamcast for example and I can select a game and give it to load (all that with the command) but then once loading the game I can not enter menu to play because no answer, no keyboard usb nor .
Then I leave the game load and the command works in the main menu or any other emulator.
I have retropie version 4.1.5
