I have RetroPie setup and everything, I installed the latest version of Kodi following the instructions on this site (v16.1).

EDIT: Found out I had to install the Xbox controller driver and now it works in Kodi, still need help with the 8Bitdo controller though

Another problem I'm having is my 8Bitdo SFC30 controller works completely fine until I enter Kodi then it doesn't work at all with or without everything else plugged in. I would actually prefer to use this controller over the wired 360 one but either would be great.

If you have a solution to this I'd prefer you explain this as if you were explaining to someone that's completely new to Linux such as command lines and things.

      I'd appreciate any help.
