      Hey all!

My little brother ended up breaking both his tibia/fibula (shin bones) on both legs from a skateboarding accident. So I was going to be a cool big brother and get him a classic NES but they are sold out everywhere and stupid overpriced from private sellers; I decided to try and build him a retropie instead.

I'm a scrub when it comes to building stuff like this but a little research and found this pack...

      https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LWVVMUI?psc=1

I think I have a basic understanding of how to set this up but I was wondering if there were any guide/tutorials worth recommending. I picked this package because I want him to be able to have a wireless controller.

Is this kit worth picking up?
Will it suit my needs of building a game station for him; wireless controller, large capacity of games from the NES and newer?
Will I be able to do this from a mac?

Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

I have essentially the same kit, but mine was from Canakit. It will do the job. Yes you can set it up from a Mac.

There are a ton of guides online and you would do well to familiarize yourself with the wiki content here. For real. Read it. Understand it.

+1 Super brother point to you for taking on a project for your kid brother.
