Retropie 4.1 issues with Rasp Pi B+
-
Last week, my brother gave me his old raspberry pi b+. After downloading the most recent version of retropie (4.1) and fiddling with the retroarch settings, I almost gave up because I couldn't get things playing/looking like they should. Whenever I would play NES/SNES games, the screen would jerk when moving from left to right and everything was a bit buggy/laggy. Then I switched video drivers to see if that would make any difference. Sure enough, I switched to VG and everything ran perfect! The only issue was that I was no longer able to access the rgui after doing this, and my games would no longer load up (I would have to start with a different driver such as GL, then switch in game to vg and it would work fine until I exited the game). I made a post about this earlier, but before it was solved, I downloaded retropie 4.0.2, and everything started working perfectly, without having to change the drivers.
I'm currently running on 4.0.2 with no problems, but I'm afraid to upgrade because I don't want it to screw everything up. Anyone else have this issue with the latest version of retropie?
