      I've recently installed RetroPie 4.1 onto a Raspberry Pi 3 B.

After following the guide, I was able to configure the PS3 controller through a wired connection. However after I launch a game (NES Super Mario), there's a small yellow text on the bottom left hand side which says controller not configured.

Going through Retroarch, I am able to navigate to the user binds using my ps3 controller, however when I select Bind ALL, retroarch does not react to my ps3 button presses.

      Any ideas?

@Darkshrimp Have you tried resetting your PS3 controller? Unplug your PS3 controller, take a paperclip and locate the reset button (small hole on the back upper part of the PS3 controller). Press and hold for ten seconds. Shutdown raspberry pi, then plug up newly reset controller and turn back on your system. If your controller starts working automatically in emulation station, it still wouldn't hurt to press start and remap your controls again just to be safe. Not sure if this will help, but it's the first thing I would do. It's possible that maybe your controller is trying to pair with something else so by resetting it, it will only be read by your pi.
