      Hello guys!
      So Raspberry Pi 3
      Power Supply - 5.2 V 2.4 A
      Retropie 4.1 from img

Today I hooked up my setup to 4K tv that I haven't an opportunity to test before and it came that there is a problem. From time to time the displayed was freezing for a second or two while the sound still going. It happened every few seconds both in games (NES, MAME, PSX) and menu itself. Tried to change tv settings and hdmi cable also. Tv was showing info that it's using 720p resolution.
When getting back home I plugged it to my 1080p tv instantly and there were no more problema. I also tested it on 720p tv and composite put aswell.
The worst thing is that I won't have any possibility to test on on 4K amy time soon but thought that maybe You experienced some issues like these before?

I am using a 4K LG 55" TV, and it works perfectly. So, i don't think that 4K is the problem.

Did you try different HDMI inputs on the 4K TV? Atleast on my TV, the HDMI inputs differ from each other in terms of what they offer.

No issues on my Samsung 4k. Pi outputs to 1080p. I did not alter any hdmi setting on my pi. I only disabled underscan. I enabled game mode because I was getting noticeable input lag.

I tried disabling all the processing stuff to set it as "naked" as possible in terms of additional enhancements. I haven't done much apart from changing hdmi_group (I am not sure if that was that one) - the one that's responsible for no sound on hdmi.
I also tried all 3 ports that tv had :/
Maybe this Sharp model and Raspberry doesn't cooperate? ;)

@Melvin.FoX You have only scratched the surface. There are a lot more setting to change. Look here

@Rion I haven't made any scratches ;) I need to dig thru with it but I still think that I should start with boot/config.txt. But still I don't have any tv to check it :/

@Melvin.FoX The link i provided refers to changes you can make in the boot.txt file. 😉
