I believe the term is 'do'h'Just realized kid friendly mode does work with any theme, but it's only if you want the extra UI options you need to edit all the XML files...
did you try it? it was just a theroy, I suggested

@InsecureSpike
Yeah I tried this evening and it seems to work fine - Did the usual testing via menu options, locking, unlocking etc. and no issues since the update a few days ago -Only thing I didn't do was put it in kid mode, just full and kiosk but it seems fine...

I am wondering the same thing. Can't really test now but I use kids mode a lot.

you could make yourself a custom edite of this theme, try adding the missing tags, from the default kid-friendly Carbon theme, then add it to this one, you'll most probably have to move the icons positions, to your liking. if you do uptake this route, back up all vital stuff, and play away, I'm sure @Rookervik wouldnt mind, you never no he may agree upon you releasing it, for the others, as long as you give him credit/kudos for the main design,
just a thought, also it'll give you a lil insight into theming/skinning. also you may only need to work on one system theme, until you achieve your desired goal.@Rookervik hope you didn't mind, this custom idea "for personal use"

When it comes to grafix I am at a loss. So that's not going to happen.
But I did get around to test the theme out and it works great. Sure there are the missing button descriptions in the theme but everything is accessible with start or select in ES.

Can you add Adventure Game Studio, Steam (Moonlight/Limelight), and Desktop art to the theme?
-
@RetroPieNerd
Been out of state for a week. AGS is already in the theme I believe. At least I've done the art for it. I'll work on the others tomorrow when I have free time. I'm tired of arguing that single-item systems should go in ports, so I'll just draw the icons instead :P
-
Alright, that's fine with me.
-
Yes, the AGS art is there already. Sorry about that.
-
Added Pixelv7 with AGS, Steam, and Desktop system sections. Download link is updated on the main thread post.
-
Could you also update in the main RetroPie repository?
-
This post is deleted! -
@RetroPieNerd
I do not have access to the main repository. Nor would I know how to update it. Herb updates it when he notices a change :)
-
@Rookervik or whenever he gets the chance when he gets back from Alaska ;)
-
Ok. You guys can take your time, I don't mind. ;)
-
Thanks!
-
@RetroPieNerd should be updated
-
Ok.

Hi! I'm building my own arcade at home and I loved this theme, is there any way to get a High Resolution version of the RetroPie logo and "Retropie" text as the splash screen?
I'm working on the Marquee for the arcade and I would like to use them there, but I need a high resolution version (55cmx18cm 200-300 dpi)
Thanks!

@maurisouto it's a pixel based splash. You can upscale it as much as you like or make it whatever you want by pulling from the splashscreen repo or other themes readily available on github
