I'm a bit of a Noob, so I had a SD copied to me with a bunch of Roms already on it. Running a Pi3 with latest EmulationStation.

I tried adding some new Roms for MAME, specifically, NFL Blitz, Marvel v Capcom, WWF Wrestlefest, but i cannot seem to get any to work. When you choose them in the list, it just kicks you back to the menu.

My guess is maybe these games are a bit too much to run, or maybe just not compatible for MAME4ALL.

Sorry in advance if this super obvious.

      Thanks!

@pjazzy11 first you need the correct romset for mam4all.
https://github.com/retropie/retropie-setup/wiki/MAME Second Those games arent compatible with mame4all. You need a different mame emulator. Lr-mame2003 is a really good one. But you need the correct romset that is stated in that link i posted.

Are you using the games from MAME version 0.37b5? Mame4all will NOT run any other version of mame except for version 0.37b5.

Have you also checked the Google Docs compatibility spreadsheet for the games you want to run? Not all games included with MAME version 0.37b5 will run. All this information can be found on the RetroPie Github page for MAME.

Appreciate the help. The arcade emulators i have are Arcade,FBA, MAME-Libretro and Mame4All.

Looks like i just need to research some roms for those others.

            Thanks again

Arcade is not an emulator, it's a folder. You have to read the guides or you will become very frustrated over time, especially with MAME.
