Emulation station doesn't work on my gameboy

I ordered a raspberry pi gameboy a few months ago and everything ran perfectly. I think I either ran an update or took the SD card out when my problem began. When I boot it up it shows the RetroPie logo and goes to the console for some reason. Here's a link to a video of of what it looks like
If anyone knows how to fix this please help. Keep in mind that I am not very experienced with raspberry pi or RetroPie. If you have the answer try to explain to me with enough detail. I can't speak Python, I can only speak English and pig Latin -

If it really is a corrupt SD just remount the image (select the right Pi Image though. I think it is the 0 for you). Just follow this instructions https://retropie.org.uk/docs/First-Installation/ . But be warned you will lose all your roms and saves, but tbh I don't see any other way to fix a corrupt SD. Generally I wouldn't take out the SD anyway if not necessary.

@CortexVacua if I do it right and I put it in the Gameboy will it automatically work, or will I need an HDMI? Because the HDMI port is not available

As far as I understand once you have mounted the clean Image on the SD and insert it in the Pi, it will just begin to install, but I don't know how the screen of the gameboy is hooked up and if it will work right away. Just make a backup of your sd, before mounting the clean image, so you can go back if it would break the system.

Anything custom that was done to that image won't be on the reinstall, so you may need to reconfigure quite a bit.

@obsidianspider what would I have to do to get it to work again? I don't have access to the HDMI, and I put an SD card in with the retropie image. Is there something i'm missing? I think I have a pitft plus 320x240 2.8 touchscreen. Here's another look at what it looks like

Today I am very happy because I solved this issue. I just had to remove the case, plug in a new image, plug in the HDMI,and get the ip so I can configure it on my computer. Thank you all so much for helping me out.
