    Emulation Station does not quit to command prompt

      Searched the forums and couldn't find this exact same issue. When I'm in Emulation Station and I select Start > Quit > Quit Emulation Station I'm no longer taken to a command prompt. It seems to hang on a black screen. The red LED stays active and the green LED slowly blinks. If I do a hard reboot everything within Emulation Station seems to work fine... it's just an exiting issue. Any ideas?

      Final line of es_log.txt is "lvl2: EmulationStation cleanly shutting down."

      Pi Model or other hardware: 3
      Power Supply used: 5.25V 2400 mA
      RetroPie Version Used: 4.1.14
      Built From: Pre made SD Image on RetroPie website
      USB Devices connected: iBuffalo SNES controller
      Error messages received: None

        I've solved this. Still not sure what the cause was... but doing a full update of all installed packages corrected it.

          I had this in the beginning. How many roms have you got installed? Take a look at this:

          Could be related?
