Help my games won't boot up

I'am new to this i upload games on my USB stick but when I put back in to my raspberry pie and re start emulation station it shows up in the list but when I go to click on the title the screen goes blank for a 1sec. Then goes back to the list of games.
Please help

Please tell me this isn't with a MAME / FBA emulator? Please?
