      When i play any game its very pixel looking and i dont know what to do as im a noob to the pi and i also dont know how to resize the background pic on the main screen with the systems...please help tia!

        Try changing video smoothing to true in the configuration editor.

          @BenWlson i would like to say thank u for the help..it worked...n on the main screen for emulation station where the game system tabs are at..i hve the simple background/theme but the picture seems way to big how do i dwn scale the pic

            Do you mean the edges of the screen are cut off? In that case you need to adjust your overscan settings in /boot/config.txt

              @BenWlson it just looks like the backgroung pic is blurry

                I think that is by design with the simple theme.

                Do note that the "carbon" theme should be used by default or you could end up with this:

                  @BenWlson i have no idea wht u mean by overscan and i wouldnt know where to begin...smh..im completely new to the whole pi movement

                    @BenWlson once again thank you very much for your help..i believe ill stick with carbon....and can i put windows iot or any other os on the same sd card as i have retropie on...tia...this is my last question!
