Every install of RetroPie 4.1 on my Pi 3 eventually starts having "permission denied" breifly flash across the bottom of the screen when trying to select emulators or resolutions for Roms before launching. (http://m.imgur.com/kHmRrMY)

Exiting ES and using the command "sudo chown -R pi:pi /opt/retropie/configs/all" fixes this until I reboot. Then I have to do it again.

      Anyone know what's going on?

@rsimmy it should be permanent. Have you moved the configs into another device anything? Or any custom scripts? Did you install RetroPie under a normal user instead of root?
